Barika Taheer Edwards (Producer / Director)  

Barika Taheer Edwards is an alumna of Northwestern College, Academy of Dramatic Arts and the American Repertory Theatre/Moscow Art Theatre at Harvard University. She has directed and produced Tape, The Wooden Pear and Burrows of Does with New York Metropolitan Collaborative. In radio, Ms. Edwards has produced and directed radio dramas, Higher Ground and Ancient Jersey by BBC writer, Paul May and composed by Grammy Winner, Stacey Parrish; and the episodic radio drama series, The Aliens which was one of the first original radio drama series to air since the Golden Age of Radio. Ms. Edwards is the Executive Producer and host of the Artsy Fartsy Show airing on WBAI 99.5FM.
