Tickets Available For Veterans This Weekend

In honor of Veterans Day and the many sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces, past and present, the Producers of The Eternal Space have made available a limited supply of complimentary tickets for opening performances this coming weekend. We have partnered with www.vettix.org to put tickets in the hands of veteran and active duty members of all branches. As many veterans returned from service, many found employment supporting the nation's rail and transit infrastructure. Its our hope that members of the Armed Forces, past and present, may enjoy a complimentary experience at theatre and enjoy the very-American themes explored on stage by The Eternal Space. To all who have served and continue to serve this great nation - Thank You!

The Veteran Tickets Foundation is a national non-profit organization that supports members of the Armed Forces and their families. The foundation through vettix.org teams up with major sports teams, promoters , venues and ticket holders to support over 21 million active military and veterans with complimentary and discounted tickets. Currently serving military and honorably discharged veterans are eligible. Veterans interested in attending the show may visit vettix.org

Production Meetings

So that’s the whole team at one table last Thursday morning. We met at the Stage Director’s & Choreographer’s Society and this was our first all-hands-on-deck production meeting. That’s my coffee and Pellegrino in the center, also an integral part of the team as it keeps me alive. This coming Friday, all production designs are to be submitted so they can go to build. I’ll try to get some shots of the concept art for the set. It’s really awesome! Rehearsals begin this coming Monday and run for two weeks straight. It’s a grueling schedule but worth it so we can put up the best show we can.

MAS Summit Tomorrow

Tomorrow The Eternal Space is honored to be featured as part of the Municipal Art Society’s two day Summit for New York City. We were given a 10 minute time slot to perform a brief piece from scene one. It’s in the New York Times Center and will have an audience of nearly 1000 people in person and over 100,000 online. Although I don’t have the live streaming link yet, the MAS has assured us that they event will go up on their website so anyone can view it at their convenience. I’ll be sure to pass that information along to you as soon as I have it. Should you be interested in going in person click here for tickets. Among this year’s speakers are Chuck Schumer, Corey Booker, and yours truly (although I only get a minute to introduce the show). We go up at 5:20 after the keynote speaker.

Backer Tickets

I’ve received quite a few emails about ticket confirmations from you guys. Thank you for reaching out. The box office at Theatre Row has assured me that they will begin mailing out your tickets starting next week so you have them before performances begin. I will continue to keep you updated on that front.

Penn Remnant Tours

Once again we are having our Penn Station Remnant Tour (our tenth if you can believe it) this Sunday, October 25. There will be two tours to commemorate the 52nd anniversary of Penn Station’s demolition. We’ve added two newly discovered remnants to the tour, one of which is pictured above and “found” by yours truly. Take a look below to see where it used to be.  Although the first tour this Sunday is sold out, the second still has some spots available if you’re in town. Click here to join us.
