Stephen Ward (Paul Abbot) ​

Stephen was born in Toronto, Ontario and grew up in its surrounding suburbs. At 14 he was accepted to Cawthra Park Secondary School of the Arts where he majored in Drama. He took part in many the school’s locally loved productions including Thorton Wilder’s The Matchmaker and Sam Sheppard’s Melodrama Play. After obtaining his 5-year Regional Arts Program of Ontario Certificate, Stephen auditioned and was accepted to The Lee Strasberg Institute in NYC. After finishing the 2-year program, Stephen was cast in such plays as Lanford Wilson’s, 5th of July, Adam Bock’s Swimming in the Shallow and in the roll of Eddie in David Rabe’s Hurly Burly. In 2010 Stephen was invited back to the Strasberg Institute to teach a film appreciation class called 100 Eyes.  When not acting, Stephen fills his limited free time with writing, filmmaking and playing music.
